Nate loves exploring the world and finding new perspectives. He is always learning and sincerely wants to help others heal. These character traits have led him to work in a broad range of occupations and locations. Starting out in Lancaster, he used his fluency in Spanish to resettle Cuban and Haitian refugees with a local resettlement agency. Then, he earned a Master of Arts in International Development before moving to Kenya to support displaced Somalis living in Nairobi and across East Africa. After his daughter was born, he moved with his family back to Lancaster to be closer to family. At that time, he returned to school at Millersville University where he earned a Master of Education in School Counseling. Since then, Nate has worked as a school counselor in a local school district and is now pursuing his Licensed Professional Counselor certification. 

Nate draws on his training in solution-focused counseling to help clients grow, but he is always looking for a new way to support clients through cognitive behavioral and other approaches. He does not currently accept insurance, but is willing to work with self-pay clients at a reduced rate.

Reduced rate for appointments under clinical supervision are:

• $50 for a 45-53 min. session
• Self-pay only; no insurance submission
• Available if you are not insured or have private insurance; Individuals with Medicare or Medicaid are ineligible.
